Finance Business Partner
We're looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual to join our team of finance business partners. You'll play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial advice, support and challenge to the services we support, which includes:
- infrastructure
- IT
- HR
- finance
- law
- policy
- procurement.
This is an exciting time to join us as we strengthen our financial resilience and corporate governance and undertake radical service change through implementing Oracle Cloud.
You'll build direct working relationships with elected cabinet members and senior members of staff to support the strategic ambitions of the council. The role is one of the most senior roles within the finance service, reporting to Head of Finance Policy Planning and Strategy, who in turn reports directly to our Section 151 officer.
This role gives a unique opportunity for someone who wants to apply their extensive knowledge, experience and capacity for strategic thinking in supporting us to develop innovative transformation, with the aim of improving outcomes at lower cost. You'll share our passion to deliver a high quality service that is relied upon to help inform decision making by members and senior officers.
