Occupational therapists

Making a difference every day.

Occupational therapy is a critical service that enables people to live their lives in the way that matters most to them.

We have exciting opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced occupational therapists across Kent and offer an excellent training and induction package.

With your help, we can change lives by delivering high quality, personalised interventions using your expertise in:

  • moving and handling
  • enablement techniques
  • specialist equipment
  • major adaptations
  • using assistive technology.

Flexible working

We're committed to flexible and hybrid working and although assessments and interventions take place wherever the person lives, you can choose whether to spend your non-clinical time at home or in the office.

Training and development

To help you progress in your career, you'll get a tailored personal development plan and one-to-one support from a registered Occupational Therapy Lead.

As well as a bespoke programme to keep your practice knowledge up-to-date, you'll get specific training on:

  • moving and handling
  • housing adaptations
  • legislation
  • specialist equipment.

We've also recently appointed an Occupational Therapy Practice Development Officer, who will work closely with the occupational therapy managers to:

  • support excellent clinical practice
  • develop a Preceptorship Programme
  • support the occupational therapy apprenticeships.

Our offer

When you join us, you'll get:

  • a basic salary of between £32,485 and £43,011 per year (37 hours per week)
  • 29 to 30 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays and an extra day off during the Christmas period)
