Director of Adult Social Care and Health

Big County. Big Opportunity. Drive the change that matters.

Our 5-year ‘Making a difference every day’ strategy for adult social care was co-produced with people that draw on support and carers in Kent. People told us what’s important to them:

  • to have their voices heard
  • be treated with respect
  • feel informed
  • have more choice and control over their lives.

It’s now up to our leadership team, workforce and partners to make this a reality.

We are seeking a creative and dynamic director with significant experience of working at a senior level in complex social care and health settings. You'll put people firmly at the heart of what you do and will balance your passion for high quality operational delivery with a strategic approach and the ability to drive forward our ambitions to deliver outstanding social care.

Our leadership team is committed to facing current challenges and creating the right conditions for positive, inclusive and strengths-based social care practice to thrive within a proudly diverse workforce. Alongside the director for east Kent and other senior colleagues, reporting to our corporate director for adult social care and health, you’ll be responsible for leading a large operational service and budget and will play a significant role in improving community resilience and health outcomes.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join us at the forefront of implementing improved ways of working together with the people we support and our key partners, to achieve our shared aims.

If you have the right experience, skills and energy to make our vision happen for people in north and west Kent, contact us.
